In March of 1970 The Colorado Association of Snowmobile Clubs (CASC) was formed and four years later in October of 1974 CASC's first newspaper publication hit the press: the CASC "Snowbiler."
The "Snowbiler" underwent some changes in January 1978 and became the "Snowbeat", an 8 1/2" x 11" newsletter. Then in March of 1981 CASC's newsletter got another facelift and became the "Snow Scoop", the state's official newspaper publication, which is still in print today.
Grant Publishing was formed in the fall of 2000 and is comprised of only two employees: Diana Grant and her daughter, Minisa Robinson. The two created Grant Publishing when they undertook the challenging, but rewarding task of publishing the Colorado Snow Scoop.
Diana and Minisa have been involved in the state snowmobile association for over 10 years and have been awarded the Colorado Snowmobile Association's "Snowmobile Family of the Year" award twice, along with their supportive families.
